Cracking BTY T64 rubbers
Using BTY - T64 -2.1 rubbers on T.Boll Spirit blade for about 03 years, changing rubbers 3 x year. Last year experienced small cracks in the center of the rubbers after 01 to 02 month and they are to expensive to change every 02 month. I'm playing off. with strong drives (probably the cause of cracking), would appreciate comments.
Re: Cracking BTY T64 rubbers
Hi Lucas,
To be honest, i haven't hear of anything like this before, but maybe the rubber dried out which allowed it to crack to during the impacts of the incoming ball? If so, you could apply some cleaner every once in a while to keep the rubber fresh.
If not, i have no idea

Re: Cracking BTY T64 rubbers
I have a recreational TT table at home. The bats that came with the table (terrible quality) were exposed to the sun which caused the rubber sheet to crack. Perhaps your T64 rubbers were stored for some time in a place where they were subjected to the sun?
